About Mudita & Me

The Journey That Gave Birth to Mudita

Born and raised in India, yoga has been a part of my life since childhood woven into my school days, my culture, and the way I grew up. Life, work, and moving around the world took me away from the practice for a while, but in my 20s, I felt a deep inner calling to return.

I explored workshops, advanced asana training, and children’s yoga teacher training, yet something still felt missing. Wanting to understand yoga beyond the physical practice, I completed my 200-hour training at The Yoga Institute, Mumbai, where I began to truly experience the deeper essence of yoga.

My journey continues to unfold. Most recently, I completed my certification in Sound Bath & Sound Healing in Rishikesh, India, bringing another layer of connection and healing to the way I hold space for others.

And so, Mudita was born a space created from my own journey, where I can share the practices that have supported and healed me, and find joy in watching others reconnect, grow, and thrive.

Our Mission

To share the true essence of yoga and the transformative power of sound healing not as performance, but as a gentle journey of mind, body, and spirit. To live and breathe Mudita:creating a space where your growth brings me joy, and where everyone feels welcome, exactly as they are.

Core Values

  • Mudita (Sympathetic Joy): Your joy is my joy — I celebrate every step of your journey
  •  Inclusivity: No judgment, no expectations — you don’t need to be flexible to begin
  • Authenticity: Honouring yoga’s traditional roots, learned in Mumbai and Rishikesh
  • Gentleness: Healing happens with kindness, never force

Lifelong Learning

I walk this path with you  always growing, always exploring

“To me, yoga is not a circus  it is not about standing on your head or performing poses. It is so much deeper than that. My journey has been hard; I have walked through depression and life’s hardest struggles. But through yoga, I found a peace no medication could give  because all the healing, all the strength, lives within you. Mudita reminds me: when you discover that power within yourself, that is my greatest joy.
